Trend Micro

Clam AntiVirus

Clam AntiVirus is an open source anti-virus toolkit for UNIX. The main purpose of this software
is the integration with mail servers (attachment scanning). The package provides a flexible and
scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner, and a tool for automatic updating via
Internet. The use of an open-source scanner compliments the commercial scanners, completing
the optimal multi-layered virus defense. ClamAV's distinct heritage means that the drivers for product
development differ from those behind the commercial scanners, thereby creating an environment
in which any weaknesses in one technology are complimented by the strengths of another.

Cloudmark

Border Scout uses Cloudmark's scaleable enterprise solution, Authority, designed to
handle large volumes of mail with unparalleled accuracy. Using advanced algorithms called
SpamGenes™, Cloudmark Authority analyses the genetic make-up of emails messages, a far
more efficient and effective approach than traditional anti-spam technologies such as rules, lists,
heuristics and content based filters. The unique genetic makeup of each email is evaluated by
sequence of up to 300 SpamGenes™. Founded in 2001, Cloudmark™ by CTO Jordan Ritter,
